"Schneider & Associates have great staff who give that little extra. When we purchased in Barefoot Bay it was August, 2015. This can be a tough time to get out-of-state coverage, which can be better coverage for a many reasons. Those insurance companies have usually reached their self-imposed limit of Florida coverage by August and normally don't start taking on new customers until after Hurricane season. However, Teresa Vigil called an executive at a Virginia insurance company with whom had a proven track record, explained the quality hurricane construction features of our 2006 home and the company revised their normal Florida exposure limit and insured us. She knew that age of a home was important to this company and she took advantage of it. This was a blessing when in 2016 Hurricane Gregory blew through the area because our roof was damaged and the insurance company proved their professionalism by immediately sending a check for roof replacement."
