“We have had the experience of being told that although our vehicle was hit by their insured, they have totalled the car and will not pay to repair. The car is a 2000 ****** ***** *** V6 with sunroof, leather, cd, etc. and ONLY 63,415 miles on it! Quincy Mutual has taken responsibility for their insured being responsible for accident. However, they are telling me that even though our car is in good shape and has low mileage, they are not going to pay for repairs. In fact, one of their representatives, basically told me that it's my problem that I am driving an old car. They told me they are going to "allow me" to keep my car. Wow! Other than that, they don't really care. They don't want to pay even though it's their insureds fault. People should be aware of this! They are discriminating against us and telling us that driving an older car comes with penalties. It doesn't matter that we bought the car for a lot of money and have maintained it and have low mileage!!! Shame on them!!! Thankfully, I am not their customer and NEVER will be.
